Who is Father Christmas?

Hello, Hallo, Hola.

Christmas is coming up and don't we all love a Christmas Story. I had to write one in my Spanish class and I thought I would share it with you. I will write the version I did in class and the translation.

“No.

Who is Father Christmas?

A happy family was getting a tree and decorations out of their basement. It was nearly Christmas. All day the children sang: "Merry Christmas" and other Christmas songs. The youngest child didn't understand Christmas and asked:

"Can I open my presents now?" The family answered.

"No. You have to wait for Father Christmas."

"Who's that ? Is that my uncle?" the small child responded.

"No he isn't your uncle. Father Christmas is the boss of Christmas and gives all children of the world their presents. He comes on the 24th of December with his 12 reindeeres." the father explained.

"I've never seen a reindeer I want to open the door for him when he comes." His brothers laughed.

"You can't open the door for him. He only comes when everyone is sleeping.

The youngest child was sad because of this but a few minutes later he was singing with his brothers.
The day of Christmas the children were setting the table as the parents were cooking in the kitchen. the small child said:

"I think i will get a lot of presents because this year I was a good." The children started talking about the presents they wanted, however they will have to wait until after dinner.

I hoped you liked my little story.

See you next week. Bis nächste Woche. Hasta siguiente semana.
